About the Position:

A rare opportunity exists for an ambitious individual to join our Melbourne workshop and learn the craft of jewellery making.

As we open our new workshop space, we're looking for talented individuals to join our team and contribute to our consistent growth through hands-on practice and feedback.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support workshop operations by developing skills in polishing, repairs, resizing, and cast cleaning through continuous learning and feedback.
  • Assist with daily tasks, maintain a clean workspace, and shadow senior jewellers to gain experience and improve your craft.
  • Follow safety protocols, contribute to quality control discussions, and uphold exceptional craftsmanship standards.
  • Manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

What We Seek:

  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in jewellery making, with a clear intention to pursue a career as a skilled jeweller.
  • Ability to perform meticulous work for extended periods using a microscope, along with refined fine motor skills to ensure precision and accuracy in every task.
  • Proven practical skills in working with tools, demonstrating manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new practical skills quickly and adapt to changing priorities and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.
