About the Role

As a Vehicle Recovery Specialist with the Australian Defence Force, you will be part of the Corps of the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME). Your role will involve providing recovery support to Army vehicles and equipment in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will operate recovery vehicles and equipment to retrieve immobilised assets using your training in recovery theory.
  • You will work independently or as a team leader in high-tempo conditions during combat, non-combat, and peacetime operations.
  • You will provide technical maintenance of Army lifting, recovery, and tie-down equipment.
  • You will assist in navigating rough terrain and boggy areas to keep the fighting force advancing.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need to be quick-thinking, confident, and hands-on. You will require expertise in vehicle recovery and excellent problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
