Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Adelaide Business Services Team from an operational perspective and serve as the primary point of contact for operational, process, or service delivery-related issues.
  • Lead and manage the Business Services function, focusing on a sustainable service delivery model.
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Services Team Leader to ensure coordinated and seamless service delivery across all corporate services.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations and requirements of the Business Services team, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently.
  • Assist with budget development, cost forecasting, monthly expense tracking, and invoice management.
  • Maintain key supplier and service provider relationships and manage purchasing expenditure.
  • Induct new starters and provide office-wide training as required.
  • Support the Operations Manager in discovering and enacting improvements to both existing and new processes and services.
  • Build a strong, positive team culture, including knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all relevant WHS guidelines and requirements are met.
  • Ensure all relevant Security guidelines and requirements are met.
  • Coordinate emergency and BCP activities to meet both tenancy and office requirements.
  • Assist in overflow work from the Business Services Assistant role(s) across Office Services and Premises, and provide hands-on assistance to the team as needed.
Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of experience in facilities, office services, and operations management in professional services.
  • Ability to create and maintain an inclusive and positive team environment by actively encouraging participation and open communication amongst team members and other groups.
  • Experience leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service experience.
