Senior Accountant - Business Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and lead a team of accountants.

Duties:
  • Manage a broad spectrum of local, national, and international clients with exceptional standards expected from a top-tier accounting firm.
  • Oversee and manage an independent client portfolio, preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds.
  • Compile Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns, generate Business Activity Statements (BASs), and Instalment Activity Statements (IASs).
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business degree with a specialisation in accounting.
  • An extensive background with over three years' hands-on experience in business services within an accounting firm.
  • Holding or being in the final stages of completing the Chartered Accountant qualification.
  • Exceptional communication skills to establish enduring client relationships.
  • The ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a larger engagement team.
