Job Opportunity: Front-of-House Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the front-of-house operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage staff, and maintain a clean and safe environment at our restaurant in Sydney.

About this role:

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves food, dining out and providing fantastic experiences for customers. As a Front-of-House Manager, you will be responsible for answering business phone calls during the daytime, arranging reservations, working closely with the management group to meet revenue objectives, following company policies and procedures, possessing requisite skills and technical ability to accomplish job responsibilities, delivering superior service and maximizing customer satisfaction, resolving customer complaints and managing the restaurant's good image, training new and current employees on proper customer service practices, maintaining OKAMI FOH daily opening operation and closing routine standards, reviewing food and beverage quality during the operation, checking if receive the proper product every time, reporting any faults or damage issues from the restaurant on time, and controlling operational costs and identifying measures to cut waste.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Answering business phone calls during the daytime and arranging reservations.
  • Working closely with the management group to meet revenue objectives.
  • FOLLOWING COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
  • Possessing requisite skills and technical ability to accomplish job responsibilities.
  • Delivering superior service and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Resolving customer complaints and managing the restaurant's good image.
  • Training new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
  • Maintaining OKAMI FOH daily opening operation and closing routine standards.
  • Reviewing food and beverage quality during the operation.
  • Checking if receive the proper product every time.
  • Reporting any faults or damage issues from the restaurant on time.
  • Controlling operational costs and identifying measures to cut waste.

About You:

We are looking for someone with work experience as a Café and Restaurant Supervisor or Manager, preferably with a current NSW Liquor and Gaming Licence. You will need excellent communication and customer service skills, bilingual language skills are preferred, and good English communication skills. A positive attitude, immaculate presentation, and attention to detail are essential. Flexibility with shifts and availability on weekends is required.
