About the Role

This permanent part-time opportunity is based in Tweed Heads 2485, offering guaranteed hours and shifts close to home. You'll work directly with older members of our community, providing domestic assistance, meal preparation, and social support to help them live independently at home for longer.

As a key member of our team, you'll also have the opportunity to provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, and support them with daily tasks like personal care, medication management, and mobility assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Ensure the home environment is safe and comfortable for our customers
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation to meet individual dietary needs
  • Social Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to our customers, helping them stay connected with their communities
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting dignity and respect for our customers
  • Medication Management: Safely administer medications as required, ensuring our customers' health and wellbeing
  • Mobility Assistance: Assist with transferring, lifting, and mobilizing our customers, promoting independence and safety

Requirements
  • A Current P1 Class or Above Australian Driver's License and Registered Vehicle: Essential for travel and transportation
  • Comfortable Working Independently: Demonstrate ability to problem-solve and find solutions to everyday challenges
  • Availability to Work 3 Days Minimum (Monday - Friday): Must be available to commit to regular shifts
