Senior Automation Specialist Role

Candidates are sought after for a Senior Automation Specialist position responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance and ownership of PCS/MES and PLC process recipes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a technical authority on automation processes including review and oversight of contractors' work during design, construction, commissioning and validation phases.
  • E nsure that the overall recipe design meets engineering and manufacturing requirements for plant operation.
  • P articipate in the creation of an execution system validation strategy with representatives from CSL's Global and Site CSV & Quality teams.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Science discipline i.e. Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with direct management experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Execution Systems/Automation.
  • Specific expertise in process automation, MES and batch manufacturing industry standards (ISA S88 & S95).
