About the Role

The Legal Officer is a key position within the Screening Unit. This role is accountable to the Manager, Policy for:

  • Preparing documentation for the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) where Screening Unit decisions are appealed.
  • Conducting legal and policy research as required.
  • Assisting with the development of Screening Unit policies and procedures.
  • Drafting responses to Screening Unit inbox enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves preparing documentation for SACAT appeals, conducting legal and policy research, assisting in policy development, and drafting responses to Screening Unit enquiries.
