Research Collaboration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Collaboration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Research Director and research team in developing and collating supporting research and documentation for the Women's Research Institute (WRI) framework and proposal.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field and significant experience in research management or administration. They will possess high-level interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise and influence people across all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to the Research Director and senior leadership on research activities to inform strategic decision-making and project planning.
  • Develop strategic documents in support of the development of the WRI, including research frameworks and proposals.
  • Conduct data analysis, reviews, investigations, and reporting throughout planning and execution, utilising analytical skills to enable fact-based decisions.
  • Prepare written reports to communicate progress and inform project decisions.

About You:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area AND significant experience in research management or administration.
  • Relevant experience of research collaboration or demonstrated capacity to manage complex research tasks.
  • High-level interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence people across all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and capacity to coordinate staff in addition to working effectively as a member of a team.
