This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and work on innovative solutions for cybersecurity objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust and secure software platforms using Python and React to enhance the Cyber Security team.
  • Participate in consultations with stakeholders to identify business functions, objectives, and outputs.
  • Contribute to creating design documentation outlining technical specifications of a solution.
  • Perform code reviews and analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with a small team through regular verbal and written communication.
  • Conduct manual and automated software testing.
  • Provide support, documentation, and assistance in handing over software solutions.
Requirements:
  • Software development experience with proficiency in modern programming languages, especially Python and React.
  • Attention to detail, striving for high-quality code that adheres to best practice/style guides.
  • Security-minded, with passion for security by design and enabling security engineering as a concept.
  • Demonstrable interest in learning new languages, approaches, and methods.
  • Australian citizenship with Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance (Australian permanent residents or visa holders are not eligible).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate, train, and work with non-technical users.
