About the Role

The Administrative Coordinator - Employee Onboarding and Travel plays a pivotal role within the Human Resources team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (Congress). This position is responsible for efficiently managing travel arrangements of Congress staff and ensuring seamless onboarding of new employees. The incumbent will work closely with various departments to guarantee that travel logistics are well-coordinated, and new employees are welcomed and integrated into the organisation effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate travel itineraries, expenses, and onboarding documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and adherence to organisational policies.
  • Liaise with travel agencies, internal stakeholders, and new employees during the onboarding process to ensure effective communication.
  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced HR environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in facilitating employee onboarding processes and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to identify challenges in travel coordination and onboarding processes.
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs of the Aboriginal community.
About You:

We are seeking an experienced administration and customer service professional who is self-driven to positively influence the wellbeing and retention of new staff to Congress. As an ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
