About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our team at DXC Integrated Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of a team of Eligibility Officers and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee workflow management and deal with complex liability decisions involving stakeholder engagement, complaints handling, and compliance with Worksafe key measures.
  • Recruit and manage a team of Eligibility Officers and support teams.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to weigh up legal and medical principles.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Drive to succeed and empower others.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills, with the ability to deal with complex claims and stakeholders.
  • Exposure to WorkSafe Victoria claims management systems.
  • Understanding of Agent remuneration drivers.
  • Strategic thinking and approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • People management experience in the claims management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Accident Compensation Act 1985, Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013, and associated regulations.
