We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team at GT888 PTY LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of food preparation and cooking within our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Develop and plan creative, seasonal menus, estimate costs, and manage food orders to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure high standards at every stage, from food preparation to plating.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Managers and staff to address food preparation and service needs, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork.
  • Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on best practices to ensure our culinary team is equipped with the skills needed to deliver exceptional dishes.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Uphold and enforce food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Staff Development: Potentially oversee staff training and development, helping to grow and develop the skills of our culinary team.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Qualifications: Commercial cookery qualification(s) and at least two years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) work experience as a Chef.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and commitment to food quality, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our high standards.
