We are seeking a skilled IT Audit Specialist to join our team at KPMG. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for risk management and audit services.

About the Role

The Senior Consultant will play a key role in delivering technology risk assurance and advisory projects, including internal audit, external audit, attestation, and first & second line technology risk advisory. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of risk and controls and be able to evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of IT controls on core business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality audit services to clients, including technology risk assessments and advisory projects
  • Develop and coach team members, providing stretch assignments to advance their capability
  • Provide technical knowledge, direction, and training to engagement team members
  • Support engagement managers in the overall project management of engagements and the preparation of clear and concise reports to IT management and CIOs
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

  • A background in external/internal audit and/or risk (ideally with a professional services firm) with a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Strong technology risk and controls knowledge
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and share expertise with team members
  • A tertiary qualification in a related field (Accounting, Information Systems, Commerce or other), CA or CISA equivalent, or ability to obtain a CA or CISA
