The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Cardiac Instrument Technician to join our team at Mount Private Hospital, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterilisation of reusable instruments and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, promoting positive teamwork and excellent clinical outcomes.

Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient cleaning, washing, packing, wrapping, and sterilising of instruments and equipment, adhering to strict AS5369 2023 / GENCA standards. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a positive team culture, providing support and assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • A completed Certificate 3 in Sterilisation or related discipline
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of AS5369 2023 / GENCA standards and infection control principles
  • Familiarity with IT systems, including MS Office, Riskman, webPas, MaQS tracking system, and e-learning (desired)
