About the Role

The Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor is a key position that provides expert advice and support to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Lead and team in driving HSE performance through alignment and delivery of programs and initiatives, and identification and management of HSE risks across the portfolio.

This role supports the leadership team in driving a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, and provides guidance on HSE legislation, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance and alignment with corporate and client objectives.

The Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor will work closely with the HSE team to develop and implement HSE management systems, lead incident investigations, and design and deploy critical risk and HSE culture change initiatives.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in HSE, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a HSE role in a high-risk industry, preferably with offshore experience
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, including AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 9001
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and implement HSE management systems
  • Experience in leading incident investigations, reporting, and presenting outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple competing stakeholders' demands in a time-critical environment
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
