About the Project
Parklife Metro JV is leading a transformative Metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with the new Western Sydney Airport that is currently under construction. This joint venture with Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild aims to deliver 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

Key Responsibilities
Review mechanical design packages for compliance with contractual and standard requirements. Provide technical support to the MEP team and Linewide team in coordinating meetings with designers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Support the interface relating to mechanical systems, rail systems, and rolling stock with O&M JV partners and other stakeholders. Manage and follow up subcontractors and manufacturers in the preparation and review of material submittals. Review working drawings and provide insight and feedback. Manage the process for DCRs, FCRs, NCRs. Liaise with subcontractors and manufacturers in the preparation and review of Test Procedures and Plans. Provide technical support to the Construction team on aspects related to the installation phase. Provide input and technical support in troubleshooting and problem-solving during T&C. Ensure compliance of the works with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals, and standards. Support the Project's requirements in delivering a project aligning with our Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Legislative, Environmental, Safety, and cost requirements. Provide support on planning the use of materials, resources, components, or systems within the project to ensure project success, value for money, and best practice are achieved.

Requirements
Recognised tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (or similar field). Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a Mechanical Engineer or Site Engineer role. Experience working in tunnels (ideal). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to plan and execute competing priorities seamlessly.
