Administrative Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Emergency Department team at Gold Coast Private Hospital.

About the Role

  • Provide administrative support to the Emergency Department team, including managing the reception desk, answering calls, and preparing admission paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and effective record management systems, including preparation of medical records.
  • Perform Health Fund Checks as required and manage the collection of excesses/co payments.
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments and complete other clerical tasks such as data entry.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience working in a high-volume customer-centric role.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions as required.
