At AECOM, we're delivering a better world through our work on high-performing landscapes that tackle climate change, interconnectivity, and mobility. We're seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to join our multi-disciplinary practice in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of landscape architecture projects, from initial concept through construction.
  • Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and align with project goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide junior landscape architects and designers, fostering professional growth within the team.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Landscape Architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Revit, Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with AILA (Australian Institute of Landscape Architects).
