IT Enterprise Architect Opportunity

A forward-thinking Federal Government department is seeking a visionary IT Enterprise Architect to drive common approaches and deliver an architecture that supports business needs for the Department and the whole of government strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation's business goals and objectives.
  • Design and oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices across the organisation.
  • Communicate the technology strategy and architecture roadmap with key senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, with proven experience working with and leading solution, data, infrastructure and application architects to help them define, design and document ICT solutions.
  • Experience in identifying and scoping needs and opportunities for common platforms and services across the enterprise.
  • Understanding the current landscape and communicating the future-state architectures to relevant stakeholders.
  • Application of whole of government policies such as the DTAs Digital Service Standard and the Australian Signal Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM).
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture and approaches, particularly Microsoft offerings.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the success and integrity of a major transformational program within the Federal Government. The successful IT Enterprise Architect will be offered a 12 month contract with a 24 month extension option and flexible work arrangements.
