Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-maintenance, and compliance of our properties with regulations.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and collaborating on projects to deliver quality results.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your maintenance expertise and contribute to the upkeep of our community's housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess properties for safety and maintenance issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with technical consultants and contractors to manage projects
  • Report findings and maintain accurate records

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • A strong understanding of asset management principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Excel
  • A current driver's licence
  • A Green/White WHS Construction Induction Card or ability to obtain

Personal Qualities:

  • A caring and compassionate approach to working with vulnerable individuals
  • An enthusiastic and motivated attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
