Marketing & Communications Role

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead our communications strategy.

  • This part-time freelance role is ideal for a skilled communicator with a passion for conservation and a flair for storytelling.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy that aligns with our fundraising goals. This includes creating engaging content, managing digital communications, and leading campaigns to support revenue-generating activities.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Developing targeted campaigns to engage donors, government agencies, philanthropic foundations, corporate sponsors, and event participants.
    • Creating compelling content (blogs, social media, eDMs, multimedia, etc.) to tell the story of research, conservation work, and community impact.
    • Leading digital communications across web and social platforms; maintaining website content and supporter journeys.
Key Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of marketing and digital engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Contract Details
  • Time commitment: part-time.
  • Remuneration: day rate commensurate with experience and scope of contracted work.
  • Contract duration: up to 12 months.
  • Location: flexible/hybrid (remote or on-site).
