About the Role

As a Cloud Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.

This role involves positioning and selling technology in new customers and market segments, proactively growing customer relationships while expanding their understanding of the business. You will manage an account list in technology sales with a focus on net new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing and its applications. They will be able to engage with senior business and technical leaders to help them achieve their organisation's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to create and maintain a robust sales pipeline, including opportunities in existing accounts and driving net new business.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS.
  • Analyze sales and metrics data from your accounts to inform your strategy.
  • Achieve customer adoption through education and engagement.
  • Work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities when appropriate.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services and best practices implementations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4-8+ years of technology sales experience.
