Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment and ancillary fleet to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the team
- Relevant HME Diesel Fitter qualification
- Experience in a workshop environment, preferably in a mining or heavy industry setting
- C-class drivers' license
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Full relocation assistance to Far North Queensland from elsewhere in Australia
