English Teaching Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to support international students in their English language studies.

The ideal candidate will possess a teaching qualification, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to reflective practice and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English courses and engaging students in their learning through a student-centred approach
  • Supporting students in achieving their academic goals and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Fulfilling extra duties to support the Student & Outreach Team with study group programs throughout the year
  • Representing ILSC's core values and participating in sector Communities of Practice and Special Interest Groups
  • Reporting to the Director of Studies and working closely with National Coordinators, Student & Outreach

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification and/or experience in ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with students from diverse backgrounds
  • A commitment to reflective practice, professional development, and ongoing learning
  • The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
