About the Role

We're looking for game-changing professionals who are leaders in their field and eager to make their mark. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing structural engineering analysis and design for foundation, concrete, and steel structures. You'll work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle to deliver value within project performance criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide structural engineering analysis and design for foundation, concrete, and steel structures
  • Prepare, review, and check engineering calculations, technical specifications, and scopes of work
  • Work closely with clients to deliver value within project performance criteria
  • Coach and mentor engineers and draftspersons through practical guidance during the design and commissioning phases of projects
  • Ensure technical solutions delivered during the study and design phases are compliant with design review processes and design quality requirements
  • Monitor the progress and performance of project design teams and provide input and feedback as needed
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of post-graduate proven experience in structural design, particularly in steel and concrete structures for mineral processing plants and/or related industries
  • Proven experience managing client interactions on design and drafting issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of engineering designs and calculations
  • Solid work experience with engineering consultancies that specialize in minerals processing
