Financial Operations Assistant

The Financial Operations Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day financial activities of our organization.

  • Invoicing and Sales Orders:
  • Process customer invoices accurately and promptly. Generate and process sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Transfer Orders:
  • Coordinate and process stock transfers between different warehouse or retail locations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Credit Notes:
  • Manage the issuance and processing of credit notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Customer Service:
  • Receive and respond promptly to customer calls and inquiries. Provide excellent customer service and support, resolving queries effectively.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, performing regular stock checks and reconciliations. Report discrepancies and assist in inventory audits as required.
  • Sales Team Support:
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team members on the road. Assist in preparing sales documentation, reports, and other related materials.
  • General Accounting Support:
  • Assist the accounting team with various tasks and responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an accounts assistant, administrative, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, MYOB, Xero, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
