We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef to join our Events team at The Star Gold Coast. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership team in motivating the team, ensuring consistency in high-quality product and service standards, and mentoring and developing the Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in the brigade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure the quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchen.
  • Mentor and develop the Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in the brigade.
  • Assist with motivating the team and ensuring consistency in high-quality product and service standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Chef experience required in a 5-star environment or large restaurant.
  • Full work rights and flexible availability over a 7-day roster.
  • Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food and a keen desire for continuous learning.
  • Previous experience with quality control in production and preservation.
  • Ability to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchens.
