Job Overview

We are seeking a Trade Support Assistant to fill the role at our fabrication and mechanical workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair of machinery and equipment, performing basic welding tasks, and supporting tradespeople with day-to-day duties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Perform basic welding tasks requiring aluminium experience
  • Support tradespeople with daily workshop duties
  • Operate tools, equipment and machinery under supervision
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
  • Ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic aluminium welding skills
  • Previous experience in a fabrication or mechanical workshop environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
  • A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness and capability for manual work
  • CURRENT 'C' CLASS DRIVERS LICENCE
