About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Cloud Services DevOps Manager to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Sovereign Cloud Services Australia Delivery team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Operations engineers to provision and maintain SAP Cloud solutions.

As a people manager, you will support the success of your direct reports and the wider Melbourne-based Sovereign Cloud team by providing guidance and support to drive behaviors and understanding of our Security obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resources to ensure business-critical and innovative outcomes are successfully achieved.
  • Build action plans and make operational decisions on policies, tactics, and resources critical to the function's business success.
  • Accountable for annual goals established for the team.
  • Make day-to-day decisions within the team.
  • Lead by example, share knowledge, and work collaboratively with direct reports.
  • Provide technical input and guidance and regularly apply expertise in day-to-day activities.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of working with the Australian Security Standards – ISM, PSPF, and DSPF.
  • Sound professional experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
  • Acts with sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and political awareness.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges, and seek to proactively head-off obstacles with mitigations and contingencies.
