Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with workplace injuries or health conditions achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert occupational rehabilitation services to clients, including case management, workplace assessments, and vocational rehabilitation. You will work closely with clients, employers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans that promote optimal health and productivity.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities- Provide expert occupational rehabilitation services to clients, including case management, workplace assessments, and vocational rehabilitation.
- Work closely with clients, employers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborate with clients and employers to promote workplace modifications and injury prevention strategies.
- Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA.
- Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
