Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to secure a leadership position in asset development, overseeing the creation of all new assets connected to the transmission network.

The Asset Development Lead will provide expert advice and lead the commercial and technical development across the entire asset lifecycle for new network developments. This includes collaborating with key stakeholders and external clients to develop optimised solutions and asset strategies for network developments across all aspects of the asset lifecycle.

About You
  • Substantial experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line technical roles across the asset lifecycle, including concept development, design, construction, operations, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying risk management to support asset management decision making and regulatory compliance.
  • Working knowledge in applying and managing regulatory and compliance requirements relating to high voltage transmission networks, including ISO55001 asset management systems and AS5577.
  • Ability to apply both technical and commercial evaluation of options for network developments and input to financial modelling.
  • In-depth knowledge in most functional substation, transmission line, and cable technical areas of design, including network planning requirements, layout, insulation coordination, earthing, corona, clearances, induction, ratings, and specialist equipment.
