Emergency Vet Nurse Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Emergency Vet Nurse or Experienced GP Vet Nurse to join our team in the exciting world of Emergency and Critical Care. With years of experience in GP nursing, you may be looking to branch out into something new.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working and compassionate nurse to work with us in providing a high standard of care with a forward-thinking approach. No two days are the same at this veterinary hospital.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Nursing care to critically ill and injured patients
  • Collaboration with our skilled veterinary team to deliver timely and effective emergency treatments
  • Monitoring patients closely, administering medications, and assisting with medical procedures as needed
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols
  • Offering support and guidance to pet owners during stressful situations
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
  • A passion for continuous education and upskilling
