About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Airspace Solutions Specialist. As a key member of our Network Performance & Standards team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative airspace solutions that drive safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in Australian aviation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and define airspace design initiatives that ensure effective communication and change management.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to optimize airspace structure and performance by advising on optimal airspace and flight path design solutions.
  • Act as a safety specialist to ensure designs meet national safety requirements and that records and information systems are managed efficiently.
  • Conduct research into air traffic services procedures, concepts, and systems.
Qualifications and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ATC expertise in the Terminal or Enroute environment, or ICAO qualifications and experience in Instrument Flight Procedure Design.
  • Experience with technical design software and Office applications for development and sharing design output.
  • Strong written skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to all levels.
  • Ability to critically analyze diverse information to ensure benefit realization for Airservices and customers.
