Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team in NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead impactful projects that shape the skylines of tomorrow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in designing and documenting new building structures, as well as modifying existing structures to Australian codes. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers to develop innovative design solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering structural designs and managing projects for buildings across multiple markets. You will work closely with our design teams, modellers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structural designs and manage projects for buildings across multiple markets
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers to develop innovative design solutions
  • Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports to support project delivery
  • Undertake structural analysis and modelling using industry-standard design software
  • Provide technical input during project meetings and support construction teams with design queries and site-related issues
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and documentation of new building structures, as well as modification of existing building structures to Australian Codes
  • Ability to take on complex challenges autonomously and provide solutions through research
  • Focus on client & design service excellence, particularly in infrastructure, defence, health, education, airport & data centre experience
  • Ability to lead the delivery of projects collaborating both internally and externally with design teams, modellers and stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • L4: 3-5 years experience in industry preferable
