Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a qualified support worker to join our team, providing person-centered care and support services to individuals with complex needs. As a support worker, you will be responsible for building rapport and collaborating effectively with participants, their families, friends, and care teams to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to clients with complex and/or challenging needs
  • Provide transportation support to take participants to appointments, social and community activities
  • Build rapport and collaborate effectively with the participant, their families, friends, and care team to achieve positive outcomes
  • Be a mentor and encourage individuals to learn and undertake daily living tasks
  • Provide personal care and assistance with personal and domestic activities
  • Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Complex behaviors / needs
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disabilities or similar
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Unrestricted Driver's license
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Completion of or willingness to undertake NDIS Worker Orientation and Prevention of Infection Control Training
  • Working with children's / OCRE card required
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearence
  • Criminal History Check

Benefits:

  • Casual employment opportunity
  • $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have experience working with complex behaviors/needs
  • Must hold a valid Australian driver's license
  • Must have current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Must be willing to undertake NDIS Worker Orientation and Prevention of Infection Control Training
  • Must have a Working with Children's / OCRE card
  • Must have NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
  • Must have undergone a Criminal History Check
