Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and commission network infrastructure across multiple domains.
  • Develop detailed technical scope documentation and low-level designs.
  • Produce and execute change management plans including implementation, testing, and rollback.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation including IPAM, CMDB, and network monitoring systems.
  • Participate in asset and solution transition to support teams.
  • Manage multiple work packages concurrently, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent experience in IP network and security design.
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (REP, STP, OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points, and Firewalls (FMC/FTD).
  • Ability to troubleshoot access issues and implement new firewall policies.
  • Proven experience in developing technical documentation including design, implementation, test, and back-out plans.
  • Familiarity with fibre optics and ability to interpret fibre diagrams.
  • Experience with change management processes.
  • Exposure to mining or industrial environments is highly desirable.
