Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced mechanical engineer to lead the design of high-profile base metals projects. The successful candidate will oversee plant layout and design for base metals processing plants, develop equipment datasheets, specifications, and calculations, review engineering deliverables for quality and compliance, coordinate with designers, drafters, and other disciplines, monitor project progress, schedules, and deliverables, prepare cost estimates and contribute to study phases.

The Ideal Candidate:

A successful mechanical engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8+ years experience in mineral process plant design
  • Strong background in base metals and hydrometallurgy
  • Proven leadership skills in mechanical engineering roles
  • Skilled in bulk solids handling & conveyor design
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Strong inter-discipline coordination skills
  • Site construction & commissioning experience desirable
