Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in implementing training and support services aimed at maximising the living, employment, social and recreational skills of people with a disability.

Your primary focus will be on promoting community inclusion, independence, decision making and personal choice through these supports, with a focus on individual needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar qualification;
  • Current WWCC, Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certificate;
  • Drivers License;

In addition, we require:

  • Minimum 6 months relevant experience;
  • Experience supporting People with Disability;
  • Demonstrated Continuing Professional Development;
  • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles;

This is a part-time, casual position offering a competitive hourly rate of $34.00 - $43.00 per hour, plus super and penalty rates.

Additional Requirements

  • Afternoon shift;
  • Evening shift;
  • Public holidays;
