Part-Time Nanny Position in Balmain NSW

This role involves working part-time as a nanny for a lovely family based in beautiful Balmain. The ideal candidate will have strong instincts and experience in keeping a home tidy and organised.

The nanny's afternoon shift will be dedicated to essential housekeeping tasks, including laundry organisation and maintaining the tidiness of the house. Cooking is not a primary responsibility, but preparing simple and nutritious dishes for the children is expected.

After completing household chores and meal prep, the nanny will pick up the children from school and daycare, and shuttle them to their after-school activities.

Upon returning home, the nanny will prepare dinner for the children and ensure everything is ready for the next day by setting out clothes and prepping lunch boxes.

A reliable car and full driver's licence are crucial for navigating school pick-ups and activity drop-offs.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building a strong relationship with the children and family
  • Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
  • Managing household chores efficiently
  • Preparing simple nutritious meals for the children
  • Maintaining and learning all aspects of the family's routine

Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working full-time with children
  • Minimum 2 Australian-based child-related references
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
  • Current National Criminal Record Check
  • Clean driving record
  • Non-smoker/No vaping
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
