About Us

At our school, we are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Senior School Drama and Theatre Studies Head.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, staff and student allocation, assessment oversight, and resource management.

  • Curriculum Development: Develop and update curriculum frameworks, assessment documentation, policy statements, booklists, scopes and sequences, and subject descriptors.
  • Staff Support: Provide guidance on classroom management, pedagogy, schedules, and assessments while collaborating with department heads to allocate students and staff to classes.
  • Assessment Oversight: Ensure high-quality assessments, benchmarking, report structures, and exam administration, including paper preparation and determining awards and subject suitability.
  • Professional Representation: Represent the department at professional meetings and promote best practices in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Resource Management: Oversee Drama teaching rooms, equipment, and resources, recommending new purchases and collaborating with the Library to enhance resource availability.
  • Production Leadership: Lead Senior School productions by directing and producing shows, promoting cohesion and professionalism.

Key Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Drama and Theatre education.
