Water Conveyance Engineering Lead

This is a key role for a highly experienced Water Conveyance Engineer to lead our water team in delivering impactful projects that foster healthy communities and sustainable development across urban and regional Australia.

As a respected expert in water and wastewater design, including conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and water facilities, you will leverage your experience to provide tailored solutions and services both on and off-site.

With excellent technical and communication skills, you will be able to mentor junior engineers and deliver successful project outcomes in a supportive and inclusive environment that values diversity and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise across various civil engineering aspects, including study involvement, budgeting, scheduling, scope management, development, detailed design, analysis, construction support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages, including time-based estimates.
  • An interest in strengthening existing client relationships and building new ones as a trusted technical advisor.
  • The ability to understand our clients' core business and ensure our services meet their expectations.
  • A collaborative working style that integrates expertise across disciplines.
