At Aurizon, we are seeking a skilled Locomotive Driver to join our team at our Vic Dock depot in Melbourne.
About the Role:
- Operate locomotives on mainline, shunting, and marshalling duties.
- Examine and certify trains for departure, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a high level of on-time running and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives, adhering to Aurizon's safety and operational procedures.
About You:
- Strong commitment to safety and Aurizon's safety strategy.
- Availability to work a 24/7 shift roster.
- Experience in Victoria Safe Working systems an advantage.
- Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience.
- Certificate IV in Rail Operations (or equivalent).
- Current unrestricted driver's licence.
