This role is ideal for experienced leaders who can effectively manage teams and drive strategic objectives forward. As a Program Director, Regional Rail, you will be responsible for leading complex projects in the rail industry.
About the Role:You will lead a diverse team through complex issues and challenges, negotiating with stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes. This includes providing strategic advice to project delivery teams to inform program and project management strategies, ensuring effective use of resources and budget.
Additionally, you will establish and lead delivery teams to oversee functions, resources, and outputs, achieving delivery goals and managing risks. You will work closely with stakeholders across government agencies and the private sector to enhance knowledge sharing and facilitate decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a diverse team through complex issues and challenges
- Negotiate with stakeholders to deliver customer outcomes
- Provide strategic advice to project delivery teams
- Establish and lead delivery teams
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business Management, or relevant discipline, or extensive experience in leading complex transport operations activities
- Proven experience leading complex rail or infrastructure projects
- A valid Australian motor vehicle driver's license and willingness to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasion
