About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Planner to join our team at VISY. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the optimal performance of our paper machines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CMMS system to implement the preventative maintenance strategy.
  • Achieve and improve on repair and maintenance of the paper machine.
  • Review jobs and assess/make judgement of any mechanical issues that may arise on the paper machine.
  • Analyse data and troubleshoot mechanical problems to develop short to medium term plans and solutions to optimise paper production and ensure minimum cost expenditure.
  • Attend daily production meetings to discuss repair works, improvements and shuts.
  • Support the mechanical equipment spares & repair management.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to Health & Safety practices.

Requirements

  • A qualification in engineering or accomplished trade and/or planning background.
  • Pulp & Paper industry experience highly regarded, but not mandatory.
  • Alternatively, exposure to a 24/7 multi process/heavy industrial manufacturing environment would be an ideal fit.
  • You will possess a high level of interpersonal skills and will not be afraid of a challenge.
  • Flexibility to be part of an on-call roster.
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP or other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
