We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care and support to vulnerable young people in residential settings.

As a Youth Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic care, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and growth of young people aged 10-17.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to young people with complex needs
  • Working collaboratively within a dedicated team to deliver comprehensive care and treatment plans
  • Implementing best practice therapeutic interventions and program guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care and child safety
  • Managing household duties and providing nutritious meals to create a stable and loving home environment

Our Residential Care Program provides accommodation, top-tier physical and emotional care, and unwavering support to children and young people who have endured trauma, neglect, and abuse.

As a member of our team, you will be expected to demonstrate resilience, compassion, and a commitment to the growth and well-being of young people. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver a holistic approach to care, incorporating education, socialization, and recreational activities to promote independence and self-esteem.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each young person
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and guidance
  • Providing educational and vocational training to support young people's transition to independent living
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as trauma-informed care and attachment theory
