About This RoleWe invite applications for an Academic position within our School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching effort of the School, with opportunities to develop their scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate university students
- Supervising students in academic projects
- Maintaining and developing scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A doctoral qualification (PhD or Professional Doctorate) in a relevant discipline
- A teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education
- An understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education
- The ability to lead, engage and work effectively with colleagues
