Accounting Professional Sought

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Professional to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Reconcile accounts, manage accounts payable and receivable, verify source documents, and prepare and lodge BAS statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processes, interpret awards and legislation, and act as a point of contact for complex payroll queries. You will troubleshoot discrepancies, manage compliance, and ensure all Fair Work, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations are met.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in accounting or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Working knowledge of Xero Practice Manager, Xero Client Ledger, MYOB, & MS Office.
  • Experience with payroll compliance, award interpretation, and Fair Work regulations.
  • A strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
