About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide quality services and safeguards to participants with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.

A day in the life of this role may involve supporting participants with daily tasks, developing individualised support plans, and connecting them with community resources.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and has experience working with people with disabilities. If you have a Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent and a minimum of 12 months experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to participants with complex needs
  • Develop and implement Behavioural Strategy Supports
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve participant goals

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with people with disabilities
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS worker screening check
  • Employee WWCC
  • Valid Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desirable)
