Advanced Lab Specialist

The lab analyst plays a crucial role in supporting operations by ensuring quality, safety, and compliance of products and samples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain laboratory equipment calibration and servicing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage sampling, preparation, and testing according to established methods and standards.
- Deliver accurate and timely analytical results, escalating non-conformances and safety issues.
- Support documentation, SOP development, and training for laboratory processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Tertiary chemistry-related degree qualifications with experience operating in an analytical chemist capacity.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and technical report writing.
- Skilled in maintaining and calibrating lab equipment.
- Organized, detail-focused, with strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
- Knowledge of OHSE standards for laboratories desirable.
